A Journey to Purpose, Freedom & Impact
My name is Maria Adanmoni Emeruom, and I live in the United States of America with my husband and kids. I am a Nigerian immigrant, a parent, an attorney, and now a family-first entrepreneur.
If you’re an immigrant parent or a busy provider, you may understand this feeling… working long hours, doing your very best for your family, yet still wishing you had more time to truly be present with them.
A few years ago, that was my reality.I was grateful for my stable career as an attorney, but deep down, I desired more—more time with my family, more freedom in my schedule, and a life aligned with my values and faith. I dreamed of raising my kids without constantly feeling exhausted from work.
Like many people searching for better options, I explored different businesses—even without prior experience. But what I often saw discouraged me. Many people were constantly chasing friends and family or feeling pressured to sell, and that didn’t feel right to me.
So, I prayed for wisdom and a better path, trusting in God’s guidance.
I wasn’t looking for “quick money.” I was searching for something sustainable—something that would allow me to support my future family while living with purpose.
In August 2022, everything changed.
I discovered a simple online business model focused on digital systems, education, and serving people online—not chasing them offline. It was beginner-friendly and could be done from home, from anywhere.
I started slowly while still working and going to school. Step by step, I learned how online marketing and remote business truly work.
Over time, this journey gave me something priceless flexibility.
It helped me manage my schedule better, become more present as a parent, and create a life that supports both my family and my purpose.
Today, I spend more time raising my kids. My husband has been able to step away from multiple jobs. We are more involved in church activities, and I now help other families learn valuable income skills online.
This business has now become my full-time work—something that not only provides for my family but also gives me the freedom, flexibility, and purpose I once prayed for.
I’m still learning. I’m still growing. But I am deeply grateful for a path that supports both family life and meaningful work.I understand that balancing family, work, and faith isn’t easy—especially for immigrant families building a future in a new country.
